Gates responded loudly, accusing a white officer of being a racist, when the officer asked Gates to establish that he lived in the home after a mistaken burglary report;
Crowley arrested Gates after he knew full well that Gates was in his own home, because Crowley was offended by being accused of being a racist (the ridiculous “disorderly conduct” charge was immediately dropped because one has a First Amendment right to insult a police officer, even if the accusation is ridiculous);
then Obama, the highest ranking elected official in the nation and leader of the free world, fuels the controversy after admitting not to know the facts but then immediately choosing sides and saying that the officer acted “stupidly” (this is the president who took almost a week to gather the facts about the Iranian dictator stealing an election and killing objectors).
Which of these three acted the MOST “stupidly”? Who is the biggest offender?
The quick-to-judge-thin-skinned professor?
OR the quick-to-arrest-thin-skinned-I’ve-never-heard-of-the-First-Amendment officer?
OR the quick-to-be-outraged-except-when-it-counts president?
